Solar Installer

MPV Group is looking for an experienced Solar Installer / Team Leader to join our growing solar and electrical team, based in Gladesville and working across Greater Sydney.

We’re a well-established, family-owned business with over 30 years of experience, delivering trusted electrical, solar and security solutions for homes and businesses across Sydney.

As demand for solar, battery storage and EV charging continues to grow, we’re looking for a switched-on solar professional who can lead from the front, support a strong team culture and take pride in delivering clean, safe and compliant installations.

You’ll be responsible for leading high-quality solar, battery and EV charging installations across residential and commercial projects.

Working closely with our electrical, solar and office teams, you’ll help ensure every project is delivered safely, efficiently and to MPV Group’s high standard of workmanship.

The role includes:

• Installing residential and commercial solar PV systems
• Leading and mentoring installation crews on site
• Installing battery storage systems and EV chargers
• Completing testing, fault finding and system commissioning
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, neatly and professionally
• Coordinating with the office and design teams to keep projects running smoothly
• Maintaining clean, organised and compliant work sites
• Delivering a positive customer experience on every job

We’re looking for a confident solar professional who understands quality, compliant installation work and takes pride in leading safe, efficient projects from start to finish.

Ideally, you will have:

• Solar and battery accreditation
• Electrical licence with at least 5 years’ experience
• Working at Heights certification
• Strong experience across residential and commercial solar installations
• Experience with battery systems, EV chargers and backup configurations
• Experience with Sigenergy and SolarEdge systems preferred
• Strong understanding of AS/NZS 5033 and AS/NZS 4777
• Knowledge of grid connection requirements
• Confidence working with and following Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS)
• Strong communication skills with customers, builders and homeowners
• The ability to lead a team, solve problems and keep projects moving
