We are Clean Energy Council Accredited (CEC) and have the experience of hundreds of installations in NSW. MPV Solar has installed systems from 1.5kW to 10kW in domestic, rural and commercial applications, such as hospitals, warehouses and retail outlets.

How does solar work?
- Solar panels on your roof generate electricity in the form of direct current (DC).
- An inverter, usually mounted near your switchboard, converts the DC into alternating current (AC – 240 Volt).
- Depending on your electricity provider, the AC-240 Volt you are now generating free from the sun is either:
- GROSS metered – all sent out into the street network or
- NET metered – what is not being consumed by your appliances is sent into the street network. - Whether the power your system generates is gross or net metered, you earn an income from the power you generate.
Programmed solar maintenance services
We offer a comprehensive maintenance service for your solar installation to ensure it is operating at maximum capacity, including:
- Cleaning of panels
- Checking all electrical connections
- Checking for and reporting any damage throughout the system
- Checking installation performance and output.
Solar installation inspection reports
If your solar installation has not been installed by us, you may want to take advantage of our independent installation inspection reports, which include:
- Inspection of circuit breakers and isolators
- Inspection of wiring in roof cavity
- Inspection of panel installation
- Inspection of labelling
- Recommendation for rectification work
- Obligation-free quotation for rectification work, if required.

Energy consumption audits and reports
We offer a full analysis of your energy usage, recording peak usage times and also offer energy audits of individual appliances. Recommendations are made based on these reports.
